There is no doubt that certain traits and skills are more helpful than others when trying to "get to the top." However, that is not to say that the higher you are in your career the happier you will be, so don't fret too much. I'm not the wisest person in the world but here are some ideas to keep in mind:
1) Know what you want and strive to get it.
1) Be Positive.
1) Make the best of your opportunities.
1) Be confident.
As you may have noticed they are all ranked as the most important, and they are. Hope this helps.
